Where everything is

The Moon is new, invisible beside the Sun; the tradition reads it as the quiet start of a lunar month.

Sun is at 12°13′ Pisces in the tropical zodiac, 17°54′ Aquarius in the sidereal, gate 63 line 1 in Human Design. The tradition associates Sun with authority, health and where one stands on one's own account.

Moon is at 28°35′ Pisces in the tropical zodiac, 4°16′ Pisces in the sidereal, gate 25 line 1 in Human Design. The tradition associates Moon with mood, appetite and what is needed rather than wanted.

Mercury is at 6°59′ Pisces in the tropical zodiac, 12°40′ Aquarius in the sidereal, gate 37 line 2 in Human Design, and retrograde; a Mercury retrograde is read as a fortnight or so of things going back for a second look: messages, plans, paperwork. The tradition associates Mercury with talking, writing, negotiating and the paperwork nobody enjoys.

Venus is at 8°22′ Aries in the tropical zodiac, 14°02′ Pisces in the sidereal, gate 17 line 5 in Human Design, and retrograde; a Venus retrograde is read as a review of what is valued and who. The tradition associates Venus with relationship, comfort, money and taste.

Mars is at 13°13′ Sagittarius in the tropical zodiac, 18°54′ Scorpio in the sidereal, gate 5 line 2 in Human Design. The tradition associates Mars with effort, friction and the willingness to force a thing through.

Jupiter is at 20°52′ Aquarius in the tropical zodiac, 26°32′ Capricorn in the sidereal, gate 49 line 3 in Human Design. The tradition associates Jupiter with growth, teaching and the widening of things.

Saturn is at 0°13′ Cancer in the tropical zodiac, 5°53′ Gemini in the sidereal, gate 15 line 3 in Human Design. The tradition associates Saturn with structure, limit, work and time.

Uranus is at 27°36′ Gemini in the tropical zodiac, 3°17′ Gemini in the sidereal, gate 12 line 6 in Human Design, and retrograde; an outer planet is retrograde for months at a time; the tradition reads it as the theme turned inward. The tradition associates Uranus with the sudden, the unconventional and the break with what was.

Neptune is at 16°16′ Aries in the tropical zodiac, 21°56′ Pisces in the sidereal, gate 51 line 2 in Human Design. The tradition associates Neptune with what is blurred, longed for and dissolved.

Pluto is at 15°35′ Aquarius in the tropical zodiac, 21°16′ Capricorn in the sidereal, gate 13 line 3 in Human Design. The tradition associates Pluto with what is buried, and what is forced up.

Rahu is at 21°46′ Libra in the tropical zodiac, 27°26′ Virgo in the sidereal, gate 32 line 2 in Human Design. The tradition associates the nodes with appetite and the unfamiliar; Ketu, opposite it, detachment and endings.

In Human Design

The Sun is in gate 63, doubt, line 1, the Investigator line: the gate the whole day is read through, and the line it sits on. The Moon is in gate 25, the spirit of the self, line 1, the Investigator line, and moves on within hours. Each gate has its own page in the library: gate 63 and gate 25.

Times in UTC. A line is a sixth of a gate, a little under a degree; the Moon crosses one every hour or two. Where the Sun's gate is the day's theme, the tradition reads the Moon's as the hour's, and neither is a forecast.

Tight aspects at noon

Neptune sextile Pluto, 0.7° from exact and opening: an easy opening between the two.

Jupiter trine Rahu, 0.9° from exact and closing: an ease between the two that can go unused.

Moon square Uranus, 1.0° from exact and opening: friction between the two, which is where the work is.

Sun square Mars, 1.0° from exact and closing: friction between the two, which is where the work is.

Within two degrees of exact, one for the Moon. Closing means the aspect is still tightening; opening means it has passed. The slow pairs stay for weeks and the Moon's pass in hours.

Why the two zodiacs disagree about everything above

Every body sits about 24 degrees earlier in the sidereal zodiac than in the tropical one.

Western astrology anchors its zodiac to the seasons and Vedic astrology to the stars, and the two have drifted 24.32 degrees apart. That is why a Western page and a Vedic one can name different signs for the same planet on the same day, and why neither is wrong. We show both, every time, and where a reading depends on which one was used we say so.

What turns in the next thirty days

05 Mar 2033: Uranus turns direct. The tradition reads a station direct as the body's business resuming.

13 Mar 2033: Mercury turns direct. The tradition reads a station direct as the body's business resuming.

14 Mar 2033: Sun enters Pisces in the sidereal zodiac.

16 Mar 2033: full Moon.

18 Mar 2033: Jupiter enters Aquarius in the sidereal zodiac.

20 Mar 2033: Sun enters Aries in the tropical zodiac, which is the equinox or the solstice.

21 Mar 2033: Venus enters Pisces in the tropical zodiac.

24 Mar 2033: Mars enters Sagittarius in the sidereal zodiac.

30 Mar 2033: new Moon.

31 Mar 2033: Venus enters Aquarius in the sidereal zodiac.

A sign change or a station is a condition beginning or ending. The tradition reads the condition; it does not read an event into it, and neither does this page.
