Where everything is

Moon is at 6°10′ Virgo in the tropical zodiac, 11°52′ Leo in the sidereal, gate 40 line 1 in Human Design. The tradition associates Moon with mood, appetite and what is needed rather than wanted.

Mercury is at 15°56′ Cancer in the tropical zodiac, 21°38′ Gemini in the sidereal, gate 53 line 1 in Human Design. The tradition associates Mercury with talking, writing, negotiating and the paperwork nobody enjoys.

Mars is at 1°49′ Cancer in the tropical zodiac, 7°30′ Gemini in the sidereal, gate 15 line 4 in Human Design. The tradition associates Mars with effort, friction and the willingness to force a thing through.

Jupiter is at 1°07′ Aquarius in the tropical zodiac, 6°48′ Capricorn in the sidereal, gate 60 line 6 in Human Design, and retrograde; a Jupiter retrograde is read as growth consolidating rather than spreading. The tradition associates Jupiter with growth, teaching and the widening of things.

Saturn is at 26°12′ Gemini in the tropical zodiac, 1°53′ Gemini in the sidereal, gate 12 line 4 in Human Design. The tradition associates Saturn with structure, limit, work and time.

Uranus is at 27°11′ Gemini in the tropical zodiac, 2°53′ Gemini in the sidereal, gate 12 line 5 in Human Design. The tradition associates Uranus with the sudden, the unconventional and the break with what was.

Neptune is at 17°31′ Aries in the tropical zodiac, 23°13′ Pisces in the sidereal, gate 51 line 3 in Human Design. The tradition associates Neptune with what is blurred, longed for and dissolved.

Pluto is at 15°02′ Aquarius in the tropical zodiac, 20°43′ Capricorn in the sidereal, gate 13 line 2 in Human Design, and retrograde; an outer planet is retrograde for months at a time; the tradition reads it as the theme turned inward. The tradition associates Pluto with what is buried, and what is forced up.

Rahu is at 8°33′ Scorpio in the tropical zodiac, 14°14′ Libra in the sidereal, gate 44 line 1 in Human Design. The tradition associates the nodes with appetite and the unfamiliar; Ketu, opposite it, detachment and endings.

In Human Design

The Sun is in gate 12, caution, line 2, the Hermit line: the gate the whole day is read through, and the line it sits on. The Moon is in gate 40, aloneness, line 1, the Investigator line, and moves on within hours. Each gate has its own page in the library: gate 12 and gate 40.

Times in UTC. A line is a sixth of a gate, a little under a degree; the Moon crosses one every hour or two. Where the Sun's gate is the day's theme, the tradition reads the Moon's as the hour's, and neither is a forecast.

Tight aspects at noon

Venus conjunction Uranus, 0.1° from exact and opening: the two acting as one.

Saturn conjunction Uranus, 1.0° from exact and closing: the two acting as one.

Venus conjunction Saturn, 1.1° from exact and opening: the two acting as one.

Mercury square Neptune, 1.6° from exact and closing: friction between the two, which is where the work is.

Within two degrees of exact, one for the Moon. Closing means the aspect is still tightening; opening means it has passed. The slow pairs stay for weeks and the Moon's pass in hours.

Why the two zodiacs disagree about everything above

Every body sits about 24 degrees earlier in the sidereal zodiac than in the tropical one.

Western astrology anchors its zodiac to the seasons and Vedic astrology to the stars, and the two have drifted 24.31 degrees apart. That is why a Western page and a Vedic one can name different signs for the same planet on the same day, and why neither is wrong. We show both, every time, and where a reading depends on which one was used we say so.

A sign change or a station is a condition beginning or ending. The tradition reads the condition; it does not read an event into it, and neither does this page.
