Tight aspects at noon
Moon square Uranus, 0.2° from exact and opening: friction between the two, which is where the work is.
Uranus sextile Neptune, 0.5° from exact and closing: an easy opening between the two.
Mercury sextile Pluto, 0.5° from exact and opening: an easy opening between the two.
Jupiter trine Saturn, 0.9° from exact and closing: an ease between the two that can go unused.
Uranus trine Pluto, 1.1° from exact and opening: an ease between the two that can go unused.
Mars trine Saturn, 1.3° from exact and opening: an ease between the two that can go unused.
Neptune sextile Pluto, 1.6° from exact and opening: an easy opening between the two.
Mercury opposition Uranus, 1.7° from exact and opening: the two facing each other, and the pull to choose.
Within two degrees of exact, one for the Moon. Closing means the aspect is still tightening; opening means it has passed. The slow pairs stay for weeks and the Moon's pass in hours.
Why the two zodiacs disagree about everything above
Every body sits about 24 degrees earlier in the sidereal zodiac than in the tropical one.
Western astrology anchors its zodiac to the seasons and Vedic astrology to the stars, and the two have drifted 24.22 degrees apart. That is why a Western page and a Vedic one can name different signs for the same planet on the same day, and why neither is wrong. We show both, every time, and where a reading depends on which one was used we say so.
