Where everything is

The Moon is a waning crescent, a thin morning Moon.

Sun is at 20°58′ Aquarius in the tropical zodiac, 26°48′ Capricorn in the sidereal, gate 49 line 3 in Human Design. The tradition associates Sun with authority, health and where one stands on one's own account.

Pluto is at 25°29′ Capricorn in the tropical zodiac, 1°20′ Capricorn in the sidereal, gate 61 line 6 in Human Design. The tradition associates Pluto with what is buried, and what is forced up.

Rahu is at 18°05′ Gemini in the tropical zodiac, 23°56′ Taurus in the sidereal, gate 45 line 2 in Human Design. The tradition associates the nodes with appetite and the unfamiliar; Ketu, opposite it, detachment and endings.

In Human Design

The Sun is in gate 49, principles, line 3, the Martyr line: the gate the whole day is read through, and the line it sits on. The Moon is in gate 61, mystery, line 2, the Hermit line, and moves on within hours. Each gate has its own page in the library: gate 49 and gate 61.

Times in UTC. A line is a sixth of a gate, a little under a degree; the Moon crosses one every hour or two. Where the Sun's gate is the day's theme, the tradition reads the Moon's as the hour's, and neither is a forecast.

Tight aspects at noon

Saturn square Uranus, 0.7° from exact and closing: friction between the two, which is where the work is.

Mercury trine Rahu, 0.8° from exact and closing: an ease between the two that can go unused.

Neptune square Rahu, 1.5° from exact and opening: friction between the two, which is where the work is.

Mercury square Mars, 1.8° from exact and closing: friction between the two, which is where the work is.

Within two degrees of exact, one for the Moon. Closing means the aspect is still tightening; opening means it has passed. The slow pairs stay for weeks and the Moon's pass in hours.

Why the two zodiacs disagree about everything above

Every body sits about 24 degrees earlier in the sidereal zodiac than in the tropical one.

Western astrology anchors its zodiac to the seasons and Vedic astrology to the stars, and the two have drifted 24.15 degrees apart. That is why a Western page and a Vedic one can name different signs for the same planet on the same day, and why neither is wrong. We show both, every time, and where a reading depends on which one was used we say so.

What turns in the next thirty days

12 Feb 2021: Sun enters Aquarius in the sidereal zodiac.

18 Feb 2021: Sun enters Pisces in the tropical zodiac.

21 Feb 2021: Venus enters Aquarius in the sidereal zodiac.

21 Feb 2021: Mercury turns direct. The tradition reads a station direct as the body's business resuming.

27 Feb 2021: full Moon.

A sign change or a station is a condition beginning or ending. The tradition reads the condition; it does not read an event into it, and neither does this page.
