Where everything is

The Moon is a waning crescent, a thin morning Moon.

Sun is at 27°42′ Gemini in the tropical zodiac, 3°34′ Gemini in the sidereal, gate 12 line 6 in Human Design. The tradition associates Sun with authority, health and where one stands on one's own account.

Mercury is at 14°46′ Cancer in the tropical zodiac, 20°37′ Gemini in the sidereal, gate 39 line 6 in Human Design, and retrograde; a Mercury retrograde is read as a fortnight or so of things going back for a second look: messages, plans, paperwork. The tradition associates Mercury with talking, writing, negotiating and the paperwork nobody enjoys.

Venus is at 6°14′ Gemini in the tropical zodiac, 12°06′ Taurus in the sidereal, gate 16 line 1 in Human Design, and retrograde; a Venus retrograde is read as a review of what is valued and who. The tradition associates Venus with relationship, comfort, money and taste.

Mars is at 24°04′ Pisces in the tropical zodiac, 29°55′ Aquarius in the sidereal, gate 36 line 2 in Human Design. The tradition associates Mars with effort, friction and the willingness to force a thing through.

Jupiter is at 25°24′ Capricorn in the tropical zodiac, 1°16′ Capricorn in the sidereal, gate 61 line 5 in Human Design, and retrograde; a Jupiter retrograde is read as growth consolidating rather than spreading. The tradition associates Jupiter with growth, teaching and the widening of things.

Saturn is at 0°50′ Aquarius in the tropical zodiac, 6°41′ Capricorn in the sidereal, gate 60 line 5 in Human Design, and retrograde; a Saturn retrograde is read as structure being tested from the inside. The tradition associates Saturn with structure, limit, work and time.

Uranus is at 9°23′ Taurus in the tropical zodiac, 15°14′ Aries in the sidereal, gate 24 line 2 in Human Design. The tradition associates Uranus with the sudden, the unconventional and the break with what was.

Neptune is at 20°57′ Pisces in the tropical zodiac, 26°49′ Aquarius in the sidereal, gate 22 line 5 in Human Design. The tradition associates Neptune with what is blurred, longed for and dissolved.

Pluto is at 24°22′ Capricorn in the tropical zodiac, 0°14′ Capricorn in the sidereal, gate 61 line 4 in Human Design, and retrograde; an outer planet is retrograde for months at a time; the tradition reads it as the theme turned inward. The tradition associates Pluto with what is buried, and what is forced up.

Rahu is at 29°07′ Gemini in the tropical zodiac, 4°59′ Gemini in the sidereal, gate 15 line 1 in Human Design. The tradition associates the nodes with appetite and the unfamiliar; Ketu, opposite it, detachment and endings.

In Human Design

The Sun is in gate 12, caution, line 6, the Role Model line: the gate the whole day is read through, and the line it sits on. The Moon is in gate 8, contribution, line 1, the Investigator line, and moves on within hours. Each gate has its own page in the library: gate 12 and gate 8.

Times in UTC. A line is a sixth of a gate, a little under a degree; the Moon crosses one every hour or two. Where the Sun's gate is the day's theme, the tradition reads the Moon's as the hour's, and neither is a forecast.

Tight aspects at noon

Moon trine Jupiter, 0.0° from exact and opening: an ease between the two that can go unused.

Mars sextile Pluto, 0.3° from exact and opening: an easy opening between the two.

Jupiter conjunction Pluto, 1.0° from exact and closing: the two acting as one.

Mars sextile Jupiter, 1.3° from exact and closing: an easy opening between the two.

Sun conjunction Rahu, 1.4° from exact and closing: the two acting as one.

Within two degrees of exact, one for the Moon. Closing means the aspect is still tightening; opening means it has passed. The slow pairs stay for weeks and the Moon's pass in hours.

Why the two zodiacs disagree about everything above

Every body sits about 24 degrees earlier in the sidereal zodiac than in the tropical one.

Western astrology anchors its zodiac to the seasons and Vedic astrology to the stars, and the two have drifted 24.14 degrees apart. That is why a Western page and a Vedic one can name different signs for the same planet on the same day, and why neither is wrong. We show both, every time, and where a reading depends on which one was used we say so.

A sign change or a station is a condition beginning or ending. The tradition reads the condition; it does not read an event into it, and neither does this page.
