Mars is at 14°35′ Scorpio in the tropical zodiac, 20°17′ Libra in the sidereal, gate 1 line 2 in Human Design, and retrograde; a Mars retrograde is read as effort turned inward, a season for finishing rather than starting fights. The tradition associates Mars with effort, friction and the willingness to force a thing through.

Jupiter is at 28°32′ Sagittarius in the tropical zodiac, 4°14′ Sagittarius in the sidereal, gate 10 line 1 in Human Design, and retrograde; a Jupiter retrograde is read as growth consolidating rather than spreading. The tradition associates Jupiter with growth, teaching and the widening of things.

Rahu is at 28°13′ Scorpio in the tropical zodiac, 3°56′ Scorpio in the sidereal, gate 14 line 4 in Human Design. The tradition associates the nodes with appetite and the unfamiliar; Ketu, opposite it, detachment and endings.

In Human Design

The Sun is in gate 24, rationalisation, line 5, the Heretic line: the gate the whole day is read through, and the line it sits on. The Moon is in gate 64, confusion, line 2, the Hermit line, and moves on within hours. Each gate has its own page in the library: gate 24 and gate 64.

Times in UTC. A line is a sixth of a gate, a little under a degree; the Moon crosses one every hour or two. Where the Sun's gate is the day's theme, the tradition reads the Moon's as the hour's, and neither is a forecast.

Tight aspects at noon

Neptune sextile Pluto, 0.5° from exact and opening: an easy opening between the two.

Sun trine Moon, 0.8° from exact and opening: an ease between the two that can go unused.

Mars square Pluto, 1.0° from exact and closing: friction between the two, which is where the work is.

Mercury conjunction Neptune, 1.1° from exact and opening: the two acting as one.

Mercury sextile Pluto, 1.6° from exact and opening: an easy opening between the two.

Sun square Pluto, 1.7° from exact and closing: friction between the two, which is where the work is.

Within two degrees of exact, one for the Moon. Closing means the aspect is still tightening; opening means it has passed. The slow pairs stay for weeks and the Moon's pass in hours.

Why the two zodiacs disagree about everything above

Every body sits about 24 degrees earlier in the sidereal zodiac than in the tropical one.

Western astrology anchors its zodiac to the seasons and Vedic astrology to the stars, and the two have drifted 24.30 degrees apart. That is why a Western page and a Vedic one can name different signs for the same planet on the same day, and why neither is wrong. We show both, every time, and where a reading depends on which one was used we say so.

A sign change or a station is a condition beginning or ending. The tradition reads the condition; it does not read an event into it, and neither does this page.
