Where everything is

Sun is at 29°59′ Taurus in the tropical zodiac, 5°44′ Taurus in the sidereal, gate 8 line 6 in Human Design. The tradition associates Sun with authority, health and where one stands on one's own account.

Moon is at 14°34′ Aries in the tropical zodiac, 20°19′ Pisces in the sidereal, gate 21 line 6 in Human Design. The tradition associates Moon with mood, appetite and what is needed rather than wanted.

Venus is at 17°52′ Gemini in the tropical zodiac, 23°37′ Taurus in the sidereal, gate 45 line 1 in Human Design, and retrograde; a Venus retrograde is read as a review of what is valued and who. The tradition associates Venus with relationship, comfort, money and taste.

Mars is at 16°46′ Taurus in the tropical zodiac, 22°31′ Aries in the sidereal, gate 2 line 4 in Human Design. The tradition associates Mars with effort, friction and the willingness to force a thing through.

Jupiter is at 17°37′ Virgo in the tropical zodiac, 23°21′ Leo in the sidereal, gate 47 line 1 in Human Design. The tradition associates Jupiter with growth, teaching and the widening of things.

Saturn is at 4°41′ Taurus in the tropical zodiac, 10°26′ Aries in the sidereal, gate 27 line 3 in Human Design. The tradition associates Saturn with structure, limit, work and time.

Uranus is at 9°25′ Gemini in the tropical zodiac, 15°10′ Taurus in the sidereal, gate 16 line 4 in Human Design. The tradition associates Uranus with the sudden, the unconventional and the break with what was.

Neptune is at 8°11′ Aries in the tropical zodiac, 13°56′ Pisces in the sidereal, gate 17 line 5 in Human Design. The tradition associates Neptune with what is blurred, longed for and dissolved.

Pluto is at 8°48′ Aquarius in the tropical zodiac, 14°32′ Capricorn in the sidereal, gate 19 line 2 in Human Design, and retrograde; an outer planet is retrograde for months at a time; the tradition reads it as the theme turned inward. The tradition associates Pluto with what is buried, and what is forced up.

Rahu is at 24°50′ Capricorn in the tropical zodiac, 0°35′ Capricorn in the sidereal, gate 61 line 5 in Human Design. The tradition associates the nodes with appetite and the unfamiliar; Ketu, opposite it, detachment and endings.

In Human Design

The Sun is in gate 8, contribution, line 6, the Role Model line: the gate the whole day is read through, and the line it sits on. The Moon is in gate 21, the hunter, line 6, the Role Model line, and moves on within hours. Each gate has its own page in the library: gate 8 and gate 21.

Times in UTC. A line is a sixth of a gate, a little under a degree; the Moon crosses one every hour or two. Where the Sun's gate is the day's theme, the tradition reads the Moon's as the hour's, and neither is a forecast.

Tight aspects at noon

Venus square Jupiter, 0.3° from exact and closing: friction between the two, which is where the work is.

Neptune sextile Pluto, 0.6° from exact and closing: an easy opening between the two.

Uranus trine Pluto, 0.6° from exact and opening: an ease between the two that can go unused.

Mars trine Jupiter, 0.8° from exact and closing: an ease between the two that can go unused.

Uranus sextile Neptune, 1.2° from exact and opening: an easy opening between the two.

Mercury square Jupiter, 1.3° from exact and closing: friction between the two, which is where the work is.

Mercury conjunction Venus, 1.6° from exact and closing: the two acting as one.

Within two degrees of exact, one for the Moon. Closing means the aspect is still tightening; opening means it has passed. The slow pairs stay for weeks and the Moon's pass in hours.

Why the two zodiacs disagree about everything above

Every body sits about 24 degrees earlier in the sidereal zodiac than in the tropical one.

Western astrology anchors its zodiac to the seasons and Vedic astrology to the stars, and the two have drifted 24.25 degrees apart. That is why a Western page and a Vedic one can name different signs for the same planet on the same day, and why neither is wrong. We show both, every time, and where a reading depends on which one was used we say so.

What turns in the next thirty days

20 May 2028: Sun enters Gemini in the tropical zodiac.

21 May 2028: Mercury turns retrograde. A Mercury retrograde is read as a fortnight or so of things going back for a second look: messages, plans, paperwork.

24 May 2028: Rahu enters Sagittarius in the sidereal zodiac.

24 May 2028: new Moon.

31 May 2028: Mars enters Taurus in the sidereal zodiac.

07 Jun 2028: full Moon.

08 Jun 2028: Mars enters Gemini in the tropical zodiac.

14 Jun 2028: Mercury turns direct. The tradition reads a station direct as the body's business resuming.

15 Jun 2028: Sun enters Gemini in the sidereal zodiac.

A sign change or a station is a condition beginning or ending. The tradition reads the condition; it does not read an event into it, and neither does this page.
