Times in UTC. A line is a sixth of a gate, a little under a degree; the Moon crosses one every hour or two. Where the Sun's gate is the day's theme, the tradition reads the Moon's as the hour's, and neither is a forecast.

Tight aspects at noon

Mercury trine Saturn, 0.1° from exact and opening: an ease between the two that can go unused.

Venus sextile Mars, 0.4° from exact and closing: an easy opening between the two.

Uranus trine Pluto, 0.8° from exact and opening: an ease between the two that can go unused.

Venus square Pluto, 1.3° from exact and opening: friction between the two, which is where the work is.

Uranus sextile Neptune, 1.4° from exact and closing: an easy opening between the two.

Within two degrees of exact, one for the Moon. Closing means the aspect is still tightening; opening means it has passed. The slow pairs stay for weeks and the Moon's pass in hours.

Why the two zodiacs disagree about everything above

Every body sits about 24 degrees earlier in the sidereal zodiac than in the tropical one.

Western astrology anchors its zodiac to the seasons and Vedic astrology to the stars, and the two have drifted 24.23 degrees apart. That is why a Western page and a Vedic one can name different signs for the same planet on the same day, and why neither is wrong. We show both, every time, and where a reading depends on which one was used we say so.

What turns in the next thirty days

13 Dec 2026: Neptune turns direct. The tradition reads a station direct as the body's business resuming.

13 Dec 2026: Jupiter turns retrograde. A Jupiter retrograde is read as growth consolidating rather than spreading.

16 Dec 2026: Sun enters Sagittarius in the sidereal zodiac.

22 Dec 2026: Sun enters Capricorn in the tropical zodiac, which is the equinox or the solstice.

22 Dec 2026: Mercury enters Sagittarius in the sidereal zodiac.

24 Dec 2026: full Moon.

26 Dec 2026: Mercury enters Capricorn in the tropical zodiac.

01 Jan 2027: Venus enters Scorpio in the sidereal zodiac.

07 Jan 2027: Venus enters Sagittarius in the tropical zodiac.

08 Jan 2027: new Moon.

10 Jan 2027: Mercury enters Capricorn in the sidereal zodiac.

A sign change or a station is a condition beginning or ending. The tradition reads the condition; it does not read an event into it, and neither does this page.
