Times in UTC. A line is a sixth of a gate, a little under a degree; the Moon crosses one every hour or two. Where the Sun's gate is the day's theme, the tradition reads the Moon's as the hour's, and neither is a forecast.

Tight aspects at noon

Venus square Mars, 0.1° from exact and opening: friction between the two, which is where the work is.

Saturn conjunction Neptune, 0.2° from exact and opening: the two acting as one.

Sun sextile Uranus, 0.3° from exact and opening: an easy opening between the two.

Neptune sextile Pluto, 0.6° from exact and closing: an easy opening between the two.

Saturn sextile Pluto, 0.8° from exact and closing: an easy opening between the two.

Sun trine Saturn, 0.9° from exact and closing: an ease between the two that can go unused.

Sun trine Neptune, 1.2° from exact and closing: an ease between the two that can go unused.

Saturn sextile Uranus, 1.2° from exact and closing: an easy opening between the two.

Uranus sextile Neptune, 1.4° from exact and closing: an easy opening between the two.

Sun opposition Pluto, 1.7° from exact and closing: the two facing each other, and the pull to choose.

Mars opposition Rahu, 1.8° from exact and opening: the two facing each other, and the pull to choose.

Venus square Rahu, 1.8° from exact and opening: friction between the two, which is where the work is.

Uranus trine Pluto, 2.0° from exact and closing: an ease between the two that can go unused.

Within two degrees of exact, one for the Moon. Closing means the aspect is still tightening; opening means it has passed. The slow pairs stay for weeks and the Moon's pass in hours.

Why the two zodiacs disagree about everything above

Every body sits about 24 degrees earlier in the sidereal zodiac than in the tropical one.

Western astrology anchors its zodiac to the seasons and Vedic astrology to the stars, and the two have drifted 24.21 degrees apart. That is why a Western page and a Vedic one can name different signs for the same planet on the same day, and why neither is wrong. We show both, every time, and where a reading depends on which one was used we say so.

What turns in the next thirty days

25 Jul 2025: new Moon.

26 Jul 2025: Venus enters Gemini in the sidereal zodiac.

28 Jul 2025: Mars enters Virgo in the sidereal zodiac.

31 Jul 2025: Venus enters Cancer in the tropical zodiac.

07 Aug 2025: Mars enters Libra in the tropical zodiac.

09 Aug 2025: full Moon.

11 Aug 2025: Mercury turns direct. The tradition reads a station direct as the body's business resuming.

17 Aug 2025: Sun enters Leo in the sidereal zodiac.

21 Aug 2025: Venus enters Cancer in the sidereal zodiac.

A sign change or a station is a condition beginning or ending. The tradition reads the condition; it does not read an event into it, and neither does this page.
