Tight aspects at noon
Mercury sextile Saturn, 0.1° from exact and opening: an easy opening between the two.
Jupiter sextile Rahu, 0.2° from exact and closing: an easy opening between the two.
Saturn square Rahu, 0.4° from exact and closing: friction between the two, which is where the work is.
Neptune sextile Rahu, 0.8° from exact and opening: an easy opening between the two.
Jupiter conjunction Neptune, 1.0° from exact and closing: the two acting as one.
Mars square Rahu, 1.3° from exact and opening: friction between the two, which is where the work is.
Mars conjunction Saturn, 1.6° from exact and opening: the two acting as one.
Mercury sextile Mars, 1.7° from exact and closing: an easy opening between the two.
Within two degrees of exact, one for the Moon. Closing means the aspect is still tightening; opening means it has passed. The slow pairs stay for weeks and the Moon's pass in hours.
Why the two zodiacs disagree about everything above
Every body sits about 24 degrees earlier in the sidereal zodiac than in the tropical one.
Western astrology anchors its zodiac to the seasons and Vedic astrology to the stars, and the two have drifted 24.17 degrees apart. That is why a Western page and a Vedic one can name different signs for the same planet on the same day, and why neither is wrong. We show both, every time, and where a reading depends on which one was used we say so.

A sign change or a station is a condition beginning or ending. The tradition reads the condition; it does not read an event into it, and neither does this page.
